TERMS, CONDITIONS & PRIVACY POLICY

1. About PawsomeSitters

PawsomeSitters is a family-run cat sitting service providing reliable, professional and compassionate in-home care throughout Leeds and the surrounding areas. Your pet care will be provided by Leanne and/or Dez, our experienced, DBS-verified and fully insured pet sitters. Emma manages all administration, bookings, customer enquiries, invoicing, payments and social media.

2. Online Bookings (SuperSaaS)

PawsomeSitters uses SuperSaaS as our secure online booking system. When making a booking, you may be asked to provide:

● Your name

● Address

● Email address

● Telephone number

● Emergency contact details

● Veterinary practice details

● Information about your cat(s)

● Property access information where required This information is collected solely to manage your booking and provide our services.

By submitting a booking through SuperSaaS, you acknowledge that your information will be processed in accordance with this policy and SuperSaaS's Privacy Policy. SuperSaaS Privacy Policy: https://www.supersaas.com/info/privacy

3. Bookings

All bookings are subject to availability. A booking is confirmed once accepted by PawsomeSitters. Please ensure all information provided is accurate and up to date. We reserve the right to decline or cancel bookings where necessary.

5. Payment

Payment is due immediately upon receipt of your invoice, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Any invoice remaining unpaid 5 calendar days after the invoice date will automatically incur a £15 late payment and administration fee. Outstanding balances must be cleared before future bookings will be accepted. PawsomeSitters reserves the right to recover outstanding debts where necessary.

6. Changes to Bookings

We understand that life doesn't always go to plan. If you need to amend your booking, please let us know as soon as possible. We'll always do our best to accommodate changes where possible. As a small family-run business, we pride ourselves on being flexible and understanding when unexpected circumstances arise. However, repeated late changes or cancellations without reasonable notice may, at our discretion, result in charges being applied or future bookings being declined.

7. Access to Your Property

Clients are responsible for ensuring safe access to the property. Please provide:

● Working keys

● Lockbox codes

● Alarm details (where applicable)

● Any other information required to safely access your home If we are unable to gain access due to incorrect information or unavailable keys, the scheduled visit will remain chargeable.

8. Keys & Home Security

Any keys, lockbox codes or access information provided to PawsomeSitters are treated confidentially. Keys are never labelled with your name or address. Where instructed, we will ensure doors and windows are secured upon leaving. PawsomeSitters cannot accept responsibility for losses resulting from:

● Faulty locks

● Defective alarm systems

● Existing security faults

● Incorrect access instructions supplied by the client

9. Your Cat's Welfare

Owners must provide accurate information regarding:

● Medical conditions

● Medication requirements

● Behavioural concerns

● Feeding routines

● Indoor or outdoor status

● Veterinary details

● Emergency contacts

Failure to disclose relevant information may result in services being refused or terminated.

10. Food, Litter & Medication

Owners must ensure sufficient supplies are available throughout the booking, including:

● Food

● Fresh water

● Cat litter

● Medication (where applicable)

● Any other essential items If emergency supplies become necessary,

PawsomeSitters may purchase them on your behalf. Costs will be added to your invoice and receipts supplied. Whilst every reasonable effort will be made to administer medication according to your instructions, PawsomeSitters cannot accept responsibility where medication is refused by your cat or circumstances outside our control prevent successful administration.

11. Veterinary Treatment

Should your cat become ill or injured whilst in our care, we'll make every reasonable attempt to contact you. If you cannot be contacted and we believe treatment is necessary, you authorise PawsomeSitters to seek veterinary treatment in your cat's best interests. All veterinary fees, medication, transport and associated costs remain the responsibility of the owner.

12. Missed Visits & Emergencies

Should a visit be delayed or prevented due to severe weather, road closures, accidents, vehicle breakdown, illness or any other circumstances beyond our reasonable control, we'll make every reasonable effort to contact you and rearrange the visit where possible.

13. Dangerous Conditions

PawsomeSitters reserves the right to refuse entry or terminate a visit where we believe the property or situation presents a risk to the safety of our sitters.

14. Liability

Whilst every reasonable care will be taken, PawsomeSitters cannot accept liability for:

● Pre-existing illnesses or medical conditions

● Natural illness or deterioration

● Injury not resulting from our negligence

● Escape of cats permitted unrestricted outdoor access

● Damage caused by your cat

● Loss arising from inaccurate information supplied by the client

● Circumstances beyond our reasonable control

Owners remain legally responsible for the welfare, behaviour and actions of their cat(s) at all times. Nothing within these Terms excludes liability where exclusion would be unlawful under the laws of England and Wales.

15. Visit Updates

Unless requested otherwise, we'll send an update after each visit, including photographs where possible, so you know your cat is safe and happy.

16. Pet Photographs

We love sharing the wonderful cats we care for. With your permission, photographs taken during visits may occasionally appear on:

● Our website

● Facebook

● TikTok

● Instagram

● Any other social media

● Promotional material

We only photograph your cat and never intentionally include personal information or valuables. You may withdraw your consent at any time by emailing us.

17. Privacy & Data Protection

PawsomeSitters is committed to protecting your privacy. We collect only the information necessary to provide our services. Your information may be securely stored using trusted third-party providers, including SuperSaaS. We use your information to:

● Manage bookings

● Contact you regarding bookings

● Care for your cat(s)

● Process invoices and payments

● Meet legal obligations where required We never sell your information.

We never share your information for marketing purposes. Information will only be shared where necessary to:

● Protect your cat's welfare

● Comply with legal obligations

● Obtain emergency veterinary treatment

● Where you have provided consent

18. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to:

● Provide our services

● Meet legal obligations

● Maintain appropriate business records Information is securely deleted once no longer required.

19. Your Rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

● Access your personal information

● Correct inaccurate information

● Request deletion where legally permitted

● Withdraw consent where applicable
